It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jo Capron of Columbus, Kansas, who passed away on June 16, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Josephine Houser (Chase); her daughters, Julie Simpson (Scott) of Corinth, TX and Dana Wellmeier (Brian) of Columbus, KS; her grandchildren, Katie Scoles (Sam), Sarah Simpson (Jonathon Ward), Preston Simpson of Flower Mound, TX and Jana Allison (Dylan Koehler); her great grandchildren, Josephine Scoles and Baby Ward; and her siblings, Wesley Houser (Jan), Dora Dunlap and Steve. She was also cherished by nephews and nieces.
