He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Thomas and Goldie Marie Thomas (Stephens); his wife Beth Thomas of Iola, Kansas.; his stepmother Irene Thomas (Terrill); and his siblings, Max, Alfred Thomas, Maxine Rodrock and Wanda Wilcutt.

He is survived by: his former wives, Peggy Strunk of Moran, Kansas. and Jennie Garelli of Brooklyn; his children, William Thomas (Carrie), Terri Olson, Karen Sue Stahl and Danny Thomas (Cara); and his sister Susie Dillow. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous other family members and friends.
