Rosemary Gillaspie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary Gillaspie of Colony, Kansas, born in Kincaid, Kansas, who passed away on June 10, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence McCollam (Jack) and Lucy Ruth McCollam (Reynolds); her husband George Milton Gillaspie, Jr.; her children, Nancy Ruth, Steve Allen and Scott Lewis; her brother Vernon McCollam; and her grandsons, Mark Bartlett and Joshua Gillaspie.
She is survived by: her children, James Michael, David Wayne (Alice), Dennis Milton (Mary), Kevin Gale (Angel), Mary Ellen, Thomas Calvin, Daniel Eugene and Anna Spears; and her siblings, Delores Butler, Jimmy McCollam and Kathleen McCollam. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, should be made in Rosemary's name to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), The Humane Society or the American Heart Association.
