She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Smith and Goldie Smith (Sparkman); her husband Wallace E. Strickler; her sister Christine Cole; and her daughter Roxanne Ballard (Roy).
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Strickler (Judy) of Kerrville, Texas, Denise Gilmore (Larry) of Iola, Kansas and Garret Strickler (Shelly) of Colony, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Lance Strickler of Arizona, Keisha Watkins of Texas, Tiffany Edmonds of Texas, Joy Rise of Texas, Erica Richie of Texas, Kari Clubine of Texas, Emma Nardo of Pennsylvania and Amanda Holman of Colony. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
