He was predeceased by: his sister Diana Meyerholtz. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Elmer Swift and Charlotte Arvada Swift (Lammon); his former spouse Jackie Crawford; his children, Brett and Jessica Kinnett (Perry) of Burlingame, Kansas; his grandchildren, Sophia, Thomas Kinnett and Bristol Wiseman; and his brother Jack Swift (Rosslyn) of Kansas City.

Memorial contributions in Dale's memory may be given to the Colony Community Church.
