It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Lynn Monroe (Coldwater, Kansas), born in Chetopa, Kansas, who passed away on March 10, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert and Hazel Decima Monroe (Collins); and his siblings, Earl Monroe, Delphia Schauf, Jim Monroe and Jerry Monroe.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Monroe of Wilmore, KS; his children, Cody Monroe (Ashley) of Wilmore, KS, Crystalynn Monroe of Protection, KS, Casey Monroe of Pratt, KS, Clint Monroe (Chelsie) of Protection, KS, Cale Caldwell of Pratt, KS and Caleb Monroe (Jackie) of Gypsum, KS; his siblings, Mike Monroe (Penny) of Salina, KS, June Vierthaler of Paris, AR and Carol Clark (Vernon) of Garden City, KS; and his grandchildren, Tory Maris, Gracyn Monroe, Cayden Caldwell, Kashton Caldwell, Kyler Caldwell, Jacob Caldwell, Jonathan Caldwell, Kaitlyn Caldwell and Eli Monroe. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
