He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Ward and Elsie M. Ward (Ray); his former wife Rebecca Reynolds; his grandson Sam Ward; and his stepdaughters, Sandy, Cheryl and Joyce.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Ward of Coldwater, KS; his children, Kevin Joe Ward (Sandy) of Crescent, OK and Tami Pheatt of Coldwater, KS; his stepchildren, Teri Shope of Colorado, Dale Robinson of Colorado and Ryan Robinson of Iowa; and his siblings, William Ward (Lou) of Texas and Sharon Reese of Kansas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
