Dennis Ray Sangster Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Ray Sangster (Coldwater, Kansas), who passed away on October 29, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sangster and Lucy Marie Stevenson; and his siblings, Bob Sangster, Betty Hester, Dick Sangster, Jennie Oller, Maggie Barrett, Lila Blasi and Hud Sangster.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Mary Peitz; his stepdaughters, Connie DeRocher (Jeff) of Rogers, AR, Terri Payne (Jake) of Cimarron, KS and Karen Cunningham (Berni) of Wichita, KS; and his sister Mary Ewy of Dodge City, KS.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home (206 N Philadelphia Ave, Coldwater, KS 67029). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Protection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Community Foundation of SW Kansas or Ford County Historical Society in care of Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, P.O. Box 417, Coldwater, KS 67029.
