She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Royce and Opal Ida Hughes (Brewer). She is survived by: her husband Ron Smith of Protection, KS; her son Matt Smith (Erica) of WaKeeney, KS; her grandchildren, Reece, Cass, Case and Charley Smith; and her brother-in-law Larry Smith (Debbie) of Protection, KS.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home (206 N Philadelphia Ave, Coldwater, KS 67029). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Protection Methodist Church (102 N Washington Ave, Protection, KS 67127).
