She was predeceased by: her parents, Freman B. Smith and Edith E. Smith Black (Beatty); and her siblings, Patricia Ann Smith and John L. "J. L." Smith. She is survived by: her brother Frank E. Smith; her half-brother Roy D. Black; and her close friends, Karen Moore and Eva Buehler. She is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
