It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ross Herman Rodenbeck of Colby, Kansas, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Rodenbeck and Mary Rodenbeck (Kersenbrock); and his sisters, Marie Shreve and Ruth Weed. He is survived by: his wife Anna Dean of Colby; his son Rod Rodenbeck (Shelly); his grandson Russell of Colby; his son Robert Rodenbeck (Marsha) of Las Vegas, NV; his granddaughters, Kelli Carstensen (Jeff) of Davenport, IA, Jessica Roby (Preston) of Emporia, KS and Vanessa Stephens (Eric) of Syracuse, UT; his daughter Ronda Bachman (Rich) of Colby, KS; his grandsons, John Brottem (Taylor) of Beaumont, TX and Jesse Brottem (Kristin) of Colby; and his great grandchildren, James, Loreali, Dean, Samuel Roby, Alexis, Royce Stephens, Jackson and Karsen Brottem. He is also survived by extended family members and many, many friends.
