He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry David and Hattie Simons Walz; and his sister-in-law Alice Walz. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Abraham; and his children, Beth Snodgrass, Marcy DeKoning (Rod), Christi Gordon (Jason) and Bryan Walz. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
