She is survived by : her brother Carroll Kennedy (Ken); her children, Patty (Larry Thurlow) of Bogue, Jackie (Jeff Johnston) of Champlain, Cindy (Dean Savell) of Midlothian, Texas and Dan (Jana) of Bogue; her sisters, Ruth (Ken Norsworthy) of Raleigh and Ora Mae Irby of Logan; her grandchildren, Nolan, Amanda Rome, Nathan, Matt Rome, Jennifer, Jesse Schmidtberger, Lance, Cindy Thurlow, Roger, Amy Thurlow, Andrew, Sara Johnston, Joe, Lu Johnston, Tiffany, Billy Clifton, Jessica Savell, Jake Savell, Dylan and Brandie Irby; her great grandchildren, Lily Thurlow, Josie Schmidtberger, Chauncey Rome, Aimee Johnston, Asher Thurlow, Daxtyn Irby, Sean Johnston, Julia Schmidtberger, Evelyn Clifton, Owen Johnston, Cullen Johnston, Olivia Clifton, Sebastian Rome and Berklie Irby; and also, Ilene, Ruth, Ora Mae and Doris.
