It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nanette Baumfalk of Colby, Kansas, who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil Baumfalk Sr.; her son Virgil Baumfalk Jr.; her granddaughter Dusty Dawn McKenzie; her great grandchild McKenzie Christensen; and her brothers, William French and Robert French, II.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy McKenzie (Jack) of McCook, NE, Gary Baumfalk (Yvonne) of Colby, Sherry McDonald of Colby and Terrea Wakefield (Andrew) of Colby. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and numerous friends and family.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Atwood or the Colby Visitor's Center and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
