He is survived by: his wife Joyce Headley; his children, Robin Stears, Michelle Towey, Amanda Trew, Greg Griffin, Mitch Griffin and Tim Towey; and his siblings, Bill Towey, Jerry Towey, Tim Towey, Daniel Towey, Joe Towey, Pat Towey, Kate Towey and Gert Ulwelling. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
