She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Sutter and Sophie Sutter; her in-laws, Bessie and Milburn Weed; her husband Jack; her sons, David and Chuck; and her brothers, George, Eddie, Robert, Andrew and James.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Focke (Dwight) of Colby, Nancy Ohlrogge (David) of Colby and Michael Weed (Michelle) of Levant; her grandchildren, Britt, Amanda Focke of Casper Wyoming, Ryan, Tiffany Stevenson of Selden, KS, Todd of Colby, Genevieve Ohlrogge of Colby, Eric of Colby, Valerie Ohlrogge of Colby, Donavon Ohlrogge of Colby, Josh of Colby, Amarissa Weed of Colby, Danielle, Adam, Lydia Kirchman of Salina, Andrew Weed of Salina, Jake and Ellie Sullivan; her sister Evelyn Eder of Hayward Wisc; and also Mary Alice Weed of Salina. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
She was a member of several organizations Thomas County RSVP, VFW Woman's Auxiliary, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Young at Heart Singing Group and Senior Shufflers.
The family is requesting in lieu of flowers or plants a donation may be made to the Thomas County Community Foundation in honor of Mary's life and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701. She selected the Darren Miller Memorial Food for Kids Fund at the Foundation.
