With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Summers (Colby, Kansas), born in Graham County, Kansas, who passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Sandlin and Mary Sandlin (Doran); her daughter Darla Diane; and her brothers, Arlen, Gary and Curtis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rochelle Marie "Shelly", Shelly Rodenbeck (Rod) of Colby and Joni Jackson (Gary) of Colby; her grandchildren, Russell Rodenbeck of Colby and Jeannie Schroeder (Ben) of Brewster; and her sister-in-law Kathie of Longmont, CO.
Memorials may be made to the Pioneer Memorial Library Expansion Fund or to the Thomas County Community Foundation's Teri L. Morris Legal Fee Fund.
