He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Jacobs and Germaine Jacobs (Richard); his sisters, Madeleine Gravener, Jessie Owens-Enfield and Fern Colton; his brothers-in-law, Charles Gravener, Warren Owens, Charles Colton and Bud Enfield; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Cross and Hudson Kouba.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Shull of Colby; his children, Lynn Jacobs (Pat) of Junction City, Teresa Rogge (Van) of Kingfisher, OK, Denise Yount of Lincoln, NE, Suzanne Herschberger (Dale) of Colby, Jesse Jacobs (Bethany) of Osborne and Matthew Jacobs (Kristal) of Smithville, MO; and his grandchildren, John Rogge, Eric Rogge, Chris Jacobs, Jamie Roath, Dustin Herschberger, Crystal Luedke, Amanda Shaffer, Holly Cross, Melissa Cross, Sarah Kouba, Chance Jacobs and Audrey Jacobs. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
