Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joe Leonard Heskett of Colby, Kansas, born in Hoxie, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 70, on December 2, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Heskett and Myrna Heskett (Dunning); and his brother James Earl. He is survived by: his wife Rosalee Maurath; his children, Bret Heskett (Adriana) of Topeka, KS and Kyla Wiegert (Lucas) of Colby, KS; his grandchildren, Emily, Palmer, Logan, Easton Heskett, Brinley and Rogan Wiegert; and his siblings, Donna Schielke (Elmer) of Colby, KS, Wayne Heskett (Lauren) of Wamego, KS, Vicki Halbleib (Joe) of Cimarron, KS and Paul Heskett (Jamie) of Oakley, KS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Colby, KS or the Northwest Kansas Foundation for HOPE and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
