It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Ann Mazanec of Colby, Kansas, born in Hoxie, Kansas, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Bainter and Valeria Bainter (Smith); her brother Jim Bainter; and her daughter Robin Mazanec. She is survived by: her husband Jerome Mazanec; her children, Danyelle Montes (Logan) and Caleb Mazanec (Abigail); her granddaughter Olivia Montes; her brothers, Bill Bainter (Rose), Bob Bainter (Sandy) and Dale Bainter (Esther); and her sister-in-law Twila Bainter.

Memorials may be made to Heartland Christian School and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
