He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman "Babe" Kersenbrock and Olive Kersenbrock (Metzler); his wife Jane; his son Keith; and his grandson Jazz.
He is survived by: his children, Dwayne (Renae) of Hoxie, Luann Horchem (Gary) of Ransom and Kris Schulte (Mark) of Sedgwick; his daughter-in-law Nancy Kersenbrock of Wichita; and his grandchildren, Kyle Kersenbrock (Treasure) of Colby, Katie Watts (Nathan) of Conway, Angela Horchem (Matt McKenzie) of Tucson, Jerod Horchem (Megan) of Ransom, Jennifer Costello (Micheal) of Wichita, David Schulte of Hays, Alex Schulte of Manhattan, Benjamin Schulte of Sedgwick, Erik Kersenbrock and Ashlee Kersenbrock. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
