It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Adrian of Colby, Kansas, who passed away on October 3, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald Adrian to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Adrian and Marie Adrian (Tucker); his wife Mary Lou; his daughter Rosalie Schulze; his brothers, Duane and Murray; and his nephew Delmer Wallace.
He is survived by: his son Gary of Colby; his grandchildren, Brian Schulze of Norton, Brandon Schulze (Teresa) of Norton and Carey Steinhauer (Brian); his great grandchildren, Adrien Follum of Sutton, NE, Tymerie, Shane Steinhauer and Kadon Schulze; and his sister Rosemary Gordon of Dallas, TX.. He is also survived by four nephews and two nieces.
Due to concerns with Covid-19, it would be understandable for mourners to attend the graveside service instead of the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Thomas County Fair Board, Prairie Museum or the Norton FFA and can be sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
