She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill McGinley and Esther McGinley (Thompson); her siblings, Gaylord McGinley and Jackie Jensen (Brown); her husband Derald Brown; her children-in-law, Tab Stupka and Maureen Brown (Watkins); her granddaughters, Kelly Box (Brown) and Mindy Fryback (Gilbert); and her great grandchild James Guay.

She is survived by: her children, Bill Brown of Weskan, KS, Bob Brown (Lisa) of Kearney, MO, Judy Gilbert (Gordon) of Colby, KS and Janice Hanavan (Tommy) of Colby, KS; her sister Kathryn Simpson of Pueblo, CO; and her grandchildren, Shayne Stupka (Bailey) of Colby, KS, Shilo Stupka of Colby, KS, Shastina Crane (Trevor) of Colby, KS, Chris Brown (Karen) of Wallace, KS, Rodney Box of Sharon Springs, KS, Bailey McCoy (Scott) of Kearney, MO, Carl Gilbert of Kansas City, MO, Bobby Gilbert (Whitney) of Abilene, KS and Jeff Fryback of Colby, KS. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
