Edward Duane Cersovsky Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Duane Cersovsky of Colby, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward Duane Cersovsky to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Joseph Cersovsky Sr. and Eva Marie Cersovsky (Renner); his son Edward D; and his siblings, John Cersovsky (Mary Sue), Fred Cersovsky and Barbara Williams (Dick).
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Lea Cersovsky (Turner); his children, Troy Cersovsky and Rhonda Cersovsky-McLaughlin (Jim); his brothers, Lloyd Jr. Cersovsky (Cindy) and Mark Cersovsky; his siblings-in-law, Ron Turner (Pam), Kerry Turner (Barb) and Marilyn Rogers (Tom); his grandchildren, Amber Cersovsky, Josh Cersovsky (Savannah), Chase Cersovsky (Kortney), Cameron White (Conner) and Carson McLaughlin; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Cersovsky, Caleb Anderson, Aubrey Anderson, Trygg Cersovsky, Opal Cersovsky, Henrik Cersovsky, Brigham Cersovsky and Jack White. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A vigil service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Baalmann Mortuary - Colby (190 S Franklin Ave, Colby, KS 67701). Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Colby (1065 W 5th St, Colby, KS 67701). A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery - Colby (1065 W 5th St, Colby, KS 67701).
In lieu of flowers, gifts can be given or donations may be made to Colby High School for the ag building or the wrestling team and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
