It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Hammit (Colby, Kansas), born in Lamar, Colorado, who passed away on February 21, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Cathcart and Abigail Cathcart; her husband Charlie Hammit; her siblings, Jerry Cathcart and Pauline Stillons; and her daughter Truddi Gail Hammit.
She is survived by: her former husband Charles Hammit; and her children, Larry Hammit (Bobbie Jo) of Hugo, CO, Chad Hammit (Tasha) of Krum, TX, Vicki Duran (Damian) of Arriba, CO, Deena Bandy (Scott) of Colby, KS and Renee' Schmeiser (Mike) of Colby, KS. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
