He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Volk and Louise Volk (Niederklein); his wife Neva Lois Lyon; his son David Volk; and his daughter-in-law Janice Volk.
He is survived by: his uncle Julius; his children, Leon Volk (Mary) of Goodland, KS, Martin Volk and Lora Volk of Colby; his daughter-in-law Denise Volk of Colorado Springs, CO; and his grandchildren, Joshua Volk (Lexi) of Garden City, KS, Kinsey Volk, Ryan Volk of Goodland, KS, Kim Wright of Scott City, KS and Wendi Richardson of Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
