She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest T. Rea and Helen Rea (Dickson); and her husband Danny Ward. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Palmer of Coffeyville, Ernest of Caney, Duane Shores of Pryor and Deborah Mayo of Sherwood; her stepchildren, Brenda Morris of Locust Grove, Oklahoma and John Ward of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; and her siblings, Linda Diane Eubanks of Coffeyville, Clyde Rea of Joplin and Jerry Rea of Columbus, Ohio. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society; contributions may be left with or mailed in care of the David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
