She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Bob, Earlene Shafer and Hare. She is survived by: her parents, Stanley "Stan" Shafer Jr. and Kristi Ryan (Hare); her husband Clayton Sharpton Sr.; her children, Kristina Sharpton and Clayton Sharpton Jr.; her grandson Dalton Ferguson; her siblings, Stanley Shafer Jr., Travis Ryan, Ricky Ryan (Shannon), Justin Ryan, Amy (Brian Duncan), Pamela (Chad Morrill) and Kristin Ryan; and her grandmother Patsy Watts.
It is no surprise that one request of her family was that if it were ever possible at the end of her life for others to benefit from her organs to please donate them so others could have life. Her family honored that request by allowing the pursuit of organ donation, though that wasn't possible they were honored by at the opportunity to do so.
