He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alfred and Mary Olive Crowe Somerset; his brother James Bruce; his grandson Stephen Corey Wittkop; and also Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Thomley Somerset; his daughters, Beverly Wittkop (Stephen), Wendy Haught (Herb) and Lisa Somerset; his grandchildren, Devin, Caitlin, Nathaniel, Emmaline, Kaley and Tucker; his great grandchild Melody Kent; and his sister Mary Jo Nelson (Dick).
