We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2024, at the age of 86, Ralph Bernal (Coffeyville, Kansas), born in Cherryvale, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Bernal; his parents, Ralph Bernal and Hermenia Bernal; his siblings, Jesse Bernal, Gabriel Bernal, Ruth Riggs, Petra Bernal and Lorenza Scandoval; and his stepson Billy Watkins.
He is survived by: his daughter Angelina Vaughters (Derek); his grandchildren, Leia and Charlotte; his children, Leona Trotnic (Brett), Christopher Bernal (Becky) and Ralph Bernal Jr.; his stepdaughters, Jacquelyn Coble (Gary) and Becky Padilla (Frank); and his sisters, Roberta Kroger and Matilda Reed. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home (306 N Cline Rd, Coffeyville, KS 67337). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Name Catholic Church (408 Old Willow St, Coffeyville, KS 67337).
The family suggests memorials be made payable to the St Jude Children's Hospital and they may be left with or sent in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, Kansas, 67337.
