As we bid adieu to Myrtle's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Myrtle has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Miesner and Viola Miesner (Gerler); her husband Marvin Flanders of Paul's Lutheran Church; her son Glenn Flanders; her grandson Jeromy Flanders; and her siblings, Eugene "Gene" Miesner and Lucille Miesner.
She is survived by: her son David Flanders (Becky); and her daughter-in-law Diana Flanders. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home (306 N Cline Rd, Coffeyville, KS 67337). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (506 W 9th St, Coffeyville, KS 67337).
