She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold Pollet and Muriel Pollet (Burtrum); her husband Jack Shy; her children, Jack Shy, Jr. of Coffeyville, Kansas and Billie Wages (Philip) of Norman; her grandsons, Joshua Wages of Norman, OK and Nathan Wages (Jelena); her great grandchild Bridger Wages of Lancaster; her brother Wesley Pollet (Josephine) of Desoto, TX; and her sister-in-law Janet Pollet of Ropesville, TX.. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
She continued to travel to Texas after her husband passed until Covid-19.
