She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Bearden and Stella Bearden (Rainwater); and her sisters, Marlene Thompson and Sharon Case. She is survived by: her husband Don Plute; her children, Russell Plute (Rhonda) of Coffeyville, Kansas and Christina Acridge (Chris) of Coffeyville, Kansas; her grandchildren, Matthew Plute (Renee), Rebecca Plute, Stonewall Acridge and Bethany Shinkle (Mike); her great grandchildren, Atticus and Willow Plute; and her siblings, Roger Boyer (Carol) of Missouri and Janie Wells of Missouri. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (2602 Woodland Ave, Coffeyville, KS 67337).
The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Genesis or Harry Hynes Hospice; these may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home 306 N. Cline Rd. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
