She was predeceased by: her parents, William Benning and Cora Benning (Plummer); and her daughter-in-law Julie Garber. She is survived by: her husband Don Garber; her children, Keith Garber of Kansas City and Kristi Ditmer (Stephen) of Topeka, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Corey and Nathan Ditmer.
