Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edwin, Sr. and Marcella Mae Richards (Morris); and also Marcella Richards. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Laney; and his daughters, Cheryl Richards and Pamela Sue Cepero (Ralph). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Name Catholic Church (408 Old Willow St, Coffeyville, KS 67337).
