It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Matthew Walter of Coffeyville, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on March 17, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Walter and Doris Walter (Foster); his wife Susan Walter; his son Nicholas Walter; his stepson Juan Andres; his siblings, Ken Walter (Patricia Erickson) of Tuscan, Warner "Tom" Walter (Sharon) of Independence, Eric Walter (Donna) of Independence and Lisa Schuler of Pittsburg, Kansas; his mother-in-law Martha Hargis of Coffeyville; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Marlett (Ruby) of Pocahontas, Andrew Marlett (Melissa) of Marysville and Teressa Hargis. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews, extended relatives and close friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Coffeyville Friends of Animals; these may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W Barnes Funeral Home 306 N Cline Rd. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
