In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Staton and Maryellen Staton (Wallingford); his sister Julie Owen; and his close friend Craig Thomas. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Staton (Andrew Archer) and Julie Staton (Kurtis Riley); his grandchildren, Albert "AJ" Hudnall, Jr. of Coffeyville, Jazmine Hayes of Coffeyville and Jimmy Riley of Coffeyville; his sister Sandi Edmundson of Gladstone; and his brother-in-law Jim Owens of Coffeyville. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and many close friends.
