It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Lloyd Wright of Coffeyville, Kansas, born in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Ephraim Howard Wright "Pop" and Norma Ellen Wright (Smith); his son Randy Lee Wright; his siblings, Ruby Vaughn, Roger Wright and Daniel Wright; and his siblings-in-law, Lester Vaughn, Don Alderman and Florence Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Songia Sue Shirley; his children, Trudy Sjolander (Robert) of Waterloo, IA and Michael Wright (Ginger) of Coffeyville, KS; his grandchildren, Kurt Sjolander (Kristin) of Cedar Falls, IA, Krystal Stuart (Derrick) of Mesquite, TX, Randi Akins (Galen) of Liberty, KS, Kristina Wilhelms of Childers, OK, Katie Northup (David) of Lawrence, KS and Emily Wright of Kansas City, MO; his siblings, Carmen Jo Alderman of Coffeyville, KS, Jimmie Wright (Janet) of Neosho, MO and Steven Ray Wright of Sun City, AZ; and his sister-in-law JoAnne Wright of Yates Center, KS.. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
