He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover C. Patterson and Effie E. Patterson (Hartman); his wife Thelma; his daughter Dee Morey; and his siblings, Harrison Hoffman, Lloyd, Alvan Patterson, Mildred Looney, Velda Allen and Goldie McDowell.
He is survived by: his daughter Dena (Mike Purkey); his son-in-law David Morey; his grandchildren, Chris Purkey (Megan), Jay Purkey (Jamie), Kaitlyn Purkey, Shawn Morey (Jenifer) and Patricia Norris; and his great grandchildren, Hazel, Hendrix, Jayden, Charlee Ann, Crosby, Mason Purkey, Paige, Petyon Morey, Christopher Norris and Cyler Adkins.
The family request memorial contributions to be made payable to the Harold Patterson Memorial Scholarship that is being established for students in or going into a healthcare and may be left in care of the chapel.
