He was predeceased by: his parents, George W Chronister Sr. and Verble Marie Chronister (Mathis); and his siblings, Laura Shoemaker, Floyd Chronister (Zeke) and Clyde Chronister.
He is survived by: his former wife Betty Binkley; his son Craig Chronister (Becky) of Pittsburg, KS; his grandson Levi Chronister (Nicole) of Washington, DC; his great grandchild Theodore Chronister (Theo); and his brother Walter Chronister. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, George requested that donations be made to Shriners Children's Hospitals, the American Legion or the VFW.
