He was predeceased by: his siblings, Glenn, Derald, Gary, Toby Cooke, Maxine Cooke, Marjorie Bracken and Florence Benning; and his son-in-law Tim Payne.
He is survived by: his son Donald Eugene; his wife Lee Wanda; his children, Janet Groves (Danny), Peggy Sandon (David), Pam Payne and Tim Cooke (Janet); and his grandchildren, Darin Groves (Karen), Shannon Groves (Doug Besse), Kevin Groves (Kristin), Jennifer Troutman (Rick), Kyle Sandon (Tyler), Tiffany Wehmeyer (Brent) and Jared Cooke (Kristen). He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family has requested memorial contributions be made payable to First Baptist Church-Playground Fund or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and may be left in care of the chapel.
