She was predeceased by: her parents, Inez Ortiz and Socorro Ortiz (Mendoza); her husband Roy Kitterman; her granddaughter Sydney Elizabeth Tracy; her stepson Randy Kitterman; her siblings, Larry Ortiz and Catalina Ervin; and also Carlos Alcantar.
She is survived by: her former husband Paul Laporte; her children, Tina Alvidrez (David) of Coffeyville, Charley Laporte (Kristi) of Pleasanton, Maria Hensley (Terry) of Coffeyville and Debi Dick (Corey) of Collinsville, Oklahoma; her stepdaughters, Chris Cravens (Charlie) of Winfield and Cindy Simon (Kevin) of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; and her brothers, Jesse Ortiz (Judy) of Independence and Raul Alcantar of Topeka, Kansas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews; extended relatives and friends.
The family suggests those that are attending the service could wear something purple to show support of Alzheimer's awareness. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Dolores' name be made to the Alzheimer's Association; these may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home 306 N. Cline Rd. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
