He was predeceased by: his father Leslie Wayne DeMott; his stepfather Dean Smith; and his stepson Scott Hawley. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Rae DeMott (Kimbrel) of Coffeyville; his wife Diana DeMott; his daughter Leslie Ann Hartley (Jordan) of Coffeyville; his sisters, Pam Sanford (P. K.) of Coffeyville and Barbara Murphy (Tony) of Stockton, Missouri; his stepmother Nancy DeMott of Wichita; and his stepsiblings, Eileen Beal (Brian) of Grove and David Daughtery (Melissa) of Wichita. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
