It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Leslie Demott of Coffeyville, Kansas, born in Sacramento, California, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Leslie Wayne DeMott; his stepfather Dean Smith; and his stepson Scott Hawley. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Rae DeMott (Kimbrel) of Coffeyville; his wife Diana DeMott; his daughter Leslie Ann Hartley (Jordan) of Coffeyville; his sisters, Pam Sanford (P. K.) of Coffeyville and Barbara Murphy (Tony) of Stockton, Missouri; his stepmother Nancy DeMott of Wichita; and his stepsiblings, Eileen Beal (Brian) of Grove and David Daughtery (Melissa) of Wichita. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
