She was predeceased by: her parents, Rayfield H. Benning and Ella P. Benning (Smith); her husband Wilbur H. "Jim" McCord; and her stepson Dale McCord. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Debra Jo Mangels (Vince) and Kent McCord (Cindy); her granddaughters, Dana Means, Raina Mangels and Alyssa McCord; her great grandchild Dani Means; her grandson River Means; her sisters, Beth Stevenson, Jo Briggs and Jeanne Klein (Jerry); and her nieces and nephews, Susan Newman (Joe), Kim Baker, Ramona Hagerty (Michael), Leon Hills (Cami) and Norman Hills (Deana).
The family suggests memorials to the Edna Community Scholarship Fund; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
