It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Hockett (Codell, Kansas), who passed away on September 7, 2018, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Percie Smith; her husband Howard Hockett; her siblings, Howard Smith, Arthur Smith, Roy Smith, Neva Hoskins and Ruby Zuehlke; and her son Stanley Hockett.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie, Rodney Hockett (Arlene) of Codell, Lonnie Hockett (Karen) and Bonita Peterson (Bill) of Wichita; and her brother Lee Smith of Codell. She is also survived by grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and twenty-three great-great-grandchildren.
