It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Viola C. Gritten in Clyde, Kansas, who passed away on March 12, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Hallack and Dollie D. Hallack (Stradley); her daughter Gretchen; her husband Leo James Gritten; and her siblings, Curtis, Gerald Hallack and Maudie Sothers.
She is survived by: her grandsons, John Munson (Sarah Schneider) of St. Peters and James Munson of Austin, Texas.; her son-in-law Robert Munson of Weldon Springs; her brother Ralph Hallack (Mary Jane) of Belleville; and her sister-in-law Lavarre Hallack of Belleville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a community of friends.
Memorials are requested to the Republic County Community Foundation and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
