She was predeceased by: her parents, Zephyr T. Sorell and Eva Sorell (Hebert); her husband Donald M. Alderson; her son Joel Alderson; her grandson Blake Alderson; and her brother Jerome Sorell.

She is survived by: her children, Marjean Bemis (Perry), Sally Hood, Robert Alderson of Falls City, NE, Jerry Alderson (Kelly), Brad Alderson, Blair Alderson (Kim) and Stan Alderson (Jacine); and her brother Larry Sorell (Madonna). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
