Lela D. Chaput Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lela D. Chaput of Clifton, Kansas, who passed away on November 21, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schumock and Ida Schumock (Kilman); her husband Virgil G. Chaput; her daughter Judy Duggan; and her brother Richard Schumock.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Chaput (Judy) of Clifton, KS and Gary Chaput (Brenda) of Leavenworth, KS; and her sisters, Lila Tiemeyer of Linn, KS and Lola Lehman of Clay Center, KS. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-greatgrandchildren.
