He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilder McChesney and Catherine Marsh McChesney (Donna McChesney) of Morganville, KS.; his brother John McChesney; his nephew Joe Sorell; his brother Don; his sister-in-law Phillis Sorell; and his great grandchild Evye Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Mae Sorell Taylor; his children, Donna (Deanne Jackson), Debora Gelino, Bob Taylor (Daphne Taylor) and Jennifer McChesney-Hutchinson (Sean Hutchinson); his grandchildren, Deanne, Dennis Jackson, Debora Gelino, Elijah Jackson, Kirstin Wernecke, Kelsey Knox, Justin Gelino, Whitney Snavely, Caleb Gelino, Micah Urban, Lauren Savener and Paine Taylor; and his sister-in-law Jerry (Kathleen Sorell). He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, brother, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
