It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martin Eagan of Clearwater, Kansas, born in Liberal, Kansas, who passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Emery C. Eagan and Bessie Alice Eagan (Bryan); his wife Edith Jeanne "Jean" Greer; his son Johnny Eagan; and his siblings, Wilfred, Arthur, Raymond Eagan and Betty Hudson.

He is survived by: his daughter Jeanice Davis (Timothy) of Claremore, OK; and his brother Charles Eagan of Washington. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.

“I only met Uncle Martin one time at my grandpa Emery and grandma Bessie's 50th wedding anniversary. My dad was his brother Raymond Eagan. I really liked Uncle Martin and Aunt Jean. I didn't want to leave them. Infact I wanted to live with them. I saw him as a cowboy living a life I dreamed about. I'm sad to see you go Uncle Martin and I'm sorry I never got back up there to see you and everyone else. My mom Deanna was glad she was able to contact you a time or to. You'll be missed.
